Most Important Game of the Season!!!

Posted by deedougie on July 16th, 2007 filed in Supporter Post

I’d hate to say it but I think this team Tuesday need 3 points against Atlanta.  The stats dont lie:

- With 17 games played the Victory are 9 points out of playoff position with a game in hand.

- Time is running out. The last 4 games the Vics have lost a combined 11-2 for 0 points in the standings.  The previous 8 games before that the Vics were 2-2-4 picking up 10 points.  There are only 11 games left the team realistically has to get 18-20 points from these games (5-3-3 for example) for a shot at the playoffs.

- After Tuesday’s match, the Victory only have 4 remaining home games left.  6 are on the road.

- The Vics next 7 games are against teams 6th and below in the standings.  It is now or never to make a move up the tables by picking up wins.

I know the boyz form has been crap lately and its getting hard to keep up the energy with the season looking like its a lost cause, but its time to dig down deep and start getting some results.  A win would be HUGE!!!

- This is a call to the 1906 to be there in full force and supporting the team Tuesday!! We need everyone to come on down!

Miami FC set 4th of July extravaganza!

Portland Timbers From June 29. Sorry wasn’t there for the July 7 match–otherwise there would be some. Still uploading the remainder–I should have it completed by this weekend.

Meanwhile feel free to check out the other sets. Especially Chelsea and the Seals! :) Thanks!
